Backup and Restoration of Backup Files

At the time of closing of program, application ask for backup of data. User can choose to take backup by clicking yes to backup request.

 

• Program will prompt for destination path of back up data. From folder browser, select the backup data destination folder path. and click OK

• Now the program will backup database file, and graphic files of catalog items at destination path.

• It is recommended to keep a  copy of backup data at safe media (other than local computer) for future use.
   

To Restore Backup of Data, At the application start up on User Login Window, click

• Program will prompt for administrative password.

• Upon validating secured user, provide the source path of back up data. From folder browser, select the backup data source folder path. and click OK

• Now the program will restore backup database file, and related files of products.

In the event, you are not able to run the application for your system crashing, go to the folder Vevo! CatalogMaker Files where the application is installed. Copy this folder through windows explorer. and save this as backup for future use of restoring data. This process should be avoided as much as possible and must be used as last resort effort for saving your backup data of the program
